red currants and a mini album. :)

Hi all. I have been busy being a good housewife today. So, my house is nice and tidy and clean, (allmost no piles (!!)) my windows are shining (yes I washed them too) and my fridge is filled with nice yummy red currant juice. I was SO lucky to get all the red currants from "grand dads" garden. and I made juice out of all the berries. SO YUMMY! Couldn't thank them ( grand dad and his wife) enough!! So to say Thanks for a Wonderful vacation at their house and thanks for all the red currants and black currants we brought back home, I made them this little fun minialbum / wallhanging.
Used the awesome patternd papers from Cosmo Cricket Early Bird - it was perfect for these pictures. Had totally fun making this simple little book.

at home

Hi! Here is a little peek of what I'm working of these days. As many of you know I live in a pretty old house - a house that needs alot of paint, redecoration and renovation. I did alot when I moved here, but then I had a break from doing things in my house for a while. However the house still needs alot and now I'm back with paint and new enrgy. :)
I'm also trying to get all this little things in place. I'm SO tired of mess, and piles of things all over. So, when it was my turn to share a tip over at One Little Word today I chose to make some small boxes for the kids "office", where they can keep things like glue, erasers, pencil sharpeners, scissors and so on. I also decorated a glass jar for their pens and markers. To learn how I made this please come over to OLW today! :)

I made this LO of my dear boys a little while ago with the WONDERFUL Boyfriend collection by CosmoCricket. Love this collection - just up my alley :)

SCHOOL

School started yesterday and now we are back in the swing of things here in our household. It's so good to see all my kids go to school, being so happy - meeting friends looking foreward to the new schoolyear.
I've been working on a few LO's for Lotus lately - had totally fun using fingerpaint and watercolor:

Hi all. i'm finally back after a couple of weeks vacation. Had a great time with friends and family, sun, bathing in the sea, relaxing and all the things I love to do in this summer time.
But It is also good to be back in the swing of things again.

Have you sen these little cuties. I just fell in love with the world of amigurumi. I have made mini crocheted animals for years, but didn't know the japanese word for this little work of art until my friend Revlie told me. Go visit her blog for more inspo ;) And guess what: If you make a GOOGLEserarch on amigurumi you will find a world of beauty!! So this is my little summer (non-scrapbooking)-project. I make cute, little crocheted teddy bears :) The ones you see above are NOT mine, I found the pictures on flickr SO SO cute!! :)

I love summer and lazy days. Even if it rains it can be good just to be around the house - clean a little bit, do some crafty stuff or just relax. If you need some challenges to get your mojo flowing you should definately dive into the wonderful world of challenge blogs. :)

thunder storm and summer breeze

The thunderstorm and rain are straight outside my window.... earlier today we had sun and a little summer breeze.... dinner and icecream in the garden..... So, that's what summer is like in Norway....quick changes... But my LO's today all celebrate the bright and sunny days.

THE BEST week

Many of you may allready know last week must have been the happiest for me.

I was super, super honored and over the moon happy to be chosen for the new design team at Cosmo Cricket. I have been in love with the Cosmo papers for years, so this is really a dream come true. :) :)

a day in july

Yes, It's july allready yes, actually july 10th... I'm back home after a wonderful week of vacation.

I feel so blessed, so happy, so filled with warm, happy memories. Now the rain is pooring down and days are a little bit chillier - it's time to scrap - to visit friends, to eat strawberries, to capture those wonderful memories.:)

Here is some little glimpses of my summer days and a 100% digi LO I made using all 2peas digital kits. And not to forget about this Christmas in June-giveaway of mine.... I'll give you to the end of this week to leave a comment on THIS previous post for a chance to win.

SUMMERtime

Hi all.
Yes, I'm still here, And alive. Things have just been too busy around here. But finally time for some days off. I'll be away - relax, chrochet my afghans in the shade of a apple-tree, work on some new 3ndy-ideas ;) ;) listen to the sea, sit on the bay....

So when I'm off you can enjoy the last give-away promised you.
And since it's less than 6 months to christmas I'llgive away a packet of x-mas stuff for you. :)

life is GOOD

This weeks word up at "One little Word" is GOOD. Jessi picked the word this time. Run over to OLW to see what she has to say about this GOOD word, and to see all the BEAUTIFUL work of art the OLW-girls have made this time around.

I made a little mixed media canvas.
I've used gesso, acrylic paint, paper, book-pages etc. The title is hand-drawn and cut out of a piece of newspaper. I also added some real gold and the paper-butterflies.
