Beautiful places and beautiful friends

  Hi my friends.

This last week I have been SO lucky being around some wonderful, lovely friends.

We have been abit around the country, but all these pictures are from the beautiful place Bessaker, Fosen. This is at the coasline of Trøndelag, and I tell you, the nature is amazingly beautiful!!

The culture is still alive, the people are so warm and lovely the food is yummy ( if you are a fish-lover ;)  ).

We had some really nice, cosy days up  there.

This was the last piece of vacation. School starts on thursday.

Can't say I'm super excited to start "the neverending everydays" again .... but I know it will be all good as soon as I get in to the swing of things... ;)

just be

 Hi my friends, and again thank you so much for all your sweet comments, your thaughts and prayers. I really, really appreciate it, and it means a lot to me.

Things are slowly getting back to normal.

We still cry, are terrified, sad and angry.

It has been some heavy days here in Oslo, and our little country , Norway, after the terrible happenings in Oslo and Utøya.

The beautiful thing in the middle of this is the People of Norway have all shown so much love, so much care and so much warmth. The flowers that are all over our city tell their story We will fight the evil with love, and care for each other.

 Personally I needed some time after the tragedy, to care for my family, to meet friends, talk, cry, ponder, be silent, hug and show that we love eachother and really care.

Needed to just soak in the beauty of our wonderful nature.

I will be back now.

I will create, do the things I love, scrapbook, make art, create cards and designs.

Things will be back to normal ... time will work for us ....

but we will never forget.

Time

Time.

Just need some time to recover, to think, to ponder.

Will take a few days off.

Light a candle

....light a candle and cry for all the young people that have been killed and injuried at the Utøya camp.....

....light a candle for those who have been killed and injuried in Oslo today.....

.....light a candle for all those people that have lost their loved ones, their kids, their mom or dad, their family-members and friends.....

....light a candle to tell the world we will never let terror like this damage or destroy the democracy and freedom of our country....

....light a candle because you care....

Terrified

Terrified and sad are the words of today:

what I have to share with you today, my friends are these pictures from the bomb blast in Oslo and the attac at Utøya.

This is so terrifying and it makes me so very, very sad.  :(

I don't have words for what I feel about this.

I'm so sorry for all the people that have lost their dear ones in this bomb attac and the terrible happenings at Utøya.

Things like this should never ever happen!!
All we can do is listening to the radio and hear what is going on, and pray for all the people that are offer for these actions.

I had planned on sharing some cute cards with the brand new PDS stamps, but all we manage to do is listening to the radio and hear what is going on.

We can't believe this is actually happening in our nice, peaceful city and our beloved country.

December daily

Hi.

Today is a cold and grey day in Oslo, but it is all good and we are starting to come in to the right christmas mood.

Yesterday I attended The most fun christmas concert " the source of Christmas" at Cosmopolite in Oslo.

We go to this concert every year to hear lots of talented artists: "the source";

Mats Eilertsen, Per Oddvar Johansen, Trygve Seim og Øyvind Brække, and all their international guests.

Yes, and it is finally time to share some more of the pages in my december daily album.

I really do enjoy this december journey along with Ali Edwards.

My pages are pretty simple, but this year I have tried to focus on the little stories, and the little everyday memories.
Even if our days have been crazy and busy It is always some little things to remember.



on december 10th and 11th we made my hubbys favorite Christmas cookies. "kongen av danmark" ( english: the king of denmark cookies)

This is always a fun and happy happening in our family.
The dough have to be made one day ahead, and then, the second day we have to roll the little cookies.
We use to gather around the table to make the cookies, and it is a great way to spend time together, relax, talk, laugh and make plans for what we want to do at Christmas.
I devided my two day pages with a little piece of hambly overlay with the number 10 on one side and 11 on the other.



Here is my page for des. 13th.
We celebrate St Lucia that day, with special buns baked with safron.
At school and in all kindergardens they celebrate with a lucia parade, singing the special songs and eating buns.
This page are made on white cardstock and slip in to a pageprotector.
Recipe for the buns is printed on the back of the white cardstock.

Summer

Hi my friends.

Long time no see - but finally I'm back home for a couple of days.

Strange how busy things can get when it is time for vacation - and all you want to do is to relax....

I have had a WONDERFUL summer so far - filled with sun, sea, friends, delicious food, time to relax, visits from friends and family, lazy days, days at the beach.... yes, all I really want from a summer vacation.

This last layout was created for this weeks blogpost over at Cosmo Cricket. This saturday we've teamed up with ThermoWeb, and I had so much fun creating this layout. I used the super strong Double sided tape and the Dots for this layout.This is all for now.
