Journey

Word up #50 over at OLW.

And this time it is my turn to choose the word:

Journey– I have had this word on my mind ever since I started my journey as a team-member at OLW. I love to travel, I love to go places, to see, learn and find new inspiration. I also love words – so this journey through the world of words and all the inspiration that goes with it has been so important to me this last year. As a foreigner and a novice to the English language I often use my dictionary, so this has also been a journey through my dictionary, to find out more about the English language, the meaning of the actual word and what the word means to me. All the inspiring projects and all the beautiful words from all the wordsters, and the wonderful girls on the OLW-team have made this a great journey so far, and I'm looking forward to see all the takes on this word in the OLW-journey of words.

SPRING

Finally Spring arrived here in Oslo too. :) Oh, I love when the snow leaves, the birds sing and the green grass and tiny, little flowers are back.
Here is my little girl with some cute little flowers she brought home for me after school today. SO love tese little moments. :)

Hi my friends.

Hope you've all had a wonderful spring-break and a happy easter.

I have been out of town this week - just relaxing - meeting friends and family, enjoying the holidays. Could it be better??

Here are some pics of MY easter. Crocheting, oranges, quis on the radio, snow, sun, skiing...

Just started this NEW project inspired by my super-awesome friend Tove. I love to make stuff and when I'm not at home, knitting and crocheting are some of my faves. So when Tove showed me a super-beautiful woolen blanket she made I was hooked. ;) She even shared how she made it on her blog. (for those of you who read norwegian ;) )

As this is just in the middle of my easter-vacation (and I actually have no internet-connection) - and because of the of the time-zones this blogpost might be posted a few hours early. The mSB blog hop starts 8th of april 8.00pm EST

And here is my little easter- "gift" to you.

A colorful card and a cute little gift-bag, both made using one of my favourite mSB-stamp-set: "he loves me".

I stamped a bunch of leaves on some of my fave light patternd-paper-scraps. Painted lightly over the leaves with shimmerz paint. Made the card and gift-bag using a colorful patternd paper (I think mine is from Doodlebug). I added the leaves, a button and some fiber.

I can close the giftbag with a green ribbon on the top of the bag.

This colorful bag and card is perfect for a birthday-present in april, or just to make a friend or a neighbour happy this easter. Fill the bag with some yummy chocolate or cookies, and this will definately be a great success. :)

30th of march was the birthday of two of the best girls in the world. SO happy birthday in arrears Lene and SOL!! You are both amazing and brighten up my life.

Life has been pretty crazy-busy around here ... good but busy - and still is...

Yesterday I went totally giddy when i popped into 2 peas to fint this LO as the "featured LO of the day" in the gallery. and and #1 of the top 10 by votes. WOW! How cool is that!! So thanks to all the peas that voted for my LO and all the sweet comments. You all made my day!!

Allmost spring?

Yesterday the sun was shining, it was spring in the air. I had a cup of tea outside in the sun - first time this year! The little birds were singing and the snow melted and I even had a little peek at some little green leaves - it was all good - Today it is SNOWING outside again.

When will spring come??

Have been scrapping alot lately- LOVE it! :)

Here is a layout I made using some AWESOME goodies I got from Kenner Road. The stiched Title is inspiered by prompt #12 over at "the creative type" blog. :) It is handstiched and I Had totally fun making this. Sol was not well yesterday, so she was home from school - we had so fun, having this little photoshoot - and then scrapbooking together. Love my little scrapbooking-buddy. :)

These three Layouts are all made last weekend at the great gathering / crop in Ski. It was totally fun scrapbboking the night away from friday to sunday. SO good to see so many scrapbooking-friends. Play, talk, scrap, and have just plain FUN :)

I got a awesome package of goodies (january and february-kits) from Kenner Road just in time for the gathering. And all I brought was my new kits a (old but still favourite) stickers-alpha.. And it was all good!! If you haven't been into Kerry Lynns Kit-club allready you need to visit Kenner Road. Kerry is the sweetest, The kits she put together are so cool, and the goodies arrived SO fast, all neat and beautiful packed in paperbags. :)

Needed to scrap a little bit spring and summer... :)

Got these über-cute large labels from Evy Kristin at the gathering. So I was SO inspired to make a really colorful, happy LO with these. :)

My LO is all about love. Amazing isn't it, to love sombody 365 days a year, year after year after year... I have been married to this guy allmost half my life ...and even if my life is - like yours - filled with mostly everydays, little things - my little life - I still feel this REAL love. Love in little things, love in everyday-things - like when he makes me a cup of tea using my favourite cup, ... when he let me sleep a little bit longer (and he will be late at the office) just because he know I was up too late.... Just tiny little things - but so real, so important - it is not the big words, not the amazing, expensive trips abroad or luxus restaurant-dinners - no, it is just the REAL love that my little, everyday life brings. :)

Hello my friends. So sorry I have been absent for so long! Can't believe it is 3rd of march allready! And soon spring will come. And even sooner you'll probably find out, and see why I have been just too busy the last couple of weeks. ;) A little bird sings about spring-design, so keep a close eye at the 3ndypapir-blog, you'll soon find some news ;)

just a little vintage..

Made this little LO using one of my all time favourite pictures of my two little girls.

And, as you know, I'm really into using up my old (and maybe forgotten) treasures. Found this DaisyD patternd paper. (oh, I miss this company! They were really one of my faves) Also used some chipboard-treasures. Covered them with Shimmerz-paint and some glitterglue. Had totally fun making a li'l bit vintage. Used filters and frames from Vintage Photo-tool kit by Rhonna Farrer to make the photo look old. Also used some "seal it" stamps by my Stamp BOX.

Husker dere at jeg snakket om å bruke opp gjemte og glemte skatter for en tid siden? Jeg har jobbet med saken, og nå er det klart for enda TO nye kurs på Scrappekurs-bloggen. "knappet og klart" - et kurs for alle som elsker, hater, ønsker seg, eller gjerne vil få enda fler ideer til å bruke KNAPPER. ;)
