Hi my friends. Yes, it is still a bit left of the summer...even here in Norway. But school have started for my kids, and the lovely, warm vacation is now just heartwarming memories.

Hidden journaling behind the pictures.

scrappy stuff :)

Finally time to create and play.  :)
The rain is pooring down outside today, and my dining table is filled to the brim with scrappy stuff.
:)
It feels so good to finally have the energy and joy to make stuff.

I have created two little bookmarks for my girls, using the brand new, and OH SO CUTE "winter" collection by Pixie Dust Studio.
Make sure you come over to The PDS challenge blog as well this week to join our "anything goes" challenge. And have your chance to win some really cute digi stamps :)

this "here I come" layout was created for sketch #247 over at
Pencil Lines sketch challenge blog. I so love this picture of Iver, embracing the pacific ocean.
Make sure you go over to pencil lines on sunday for a new sketch challenge too.  :)

This "Melon & Peaches" layout is made for this months sketch challenge by Lisa Pace, over at Cocoa Daisy.
I so loved Lisas skatch, and the June Cocoa daisy kit was perfect for these colorful, fruity pictures.

This layout is all about Sol, enjoying the wild strawberries in our garden.  It was actually made for one of the CHA-challenges over at Two Peas, but I never came to post it.

Now, have a happy weekend you all.

These layouts are inspired by two of the challenges at the Cocoa daisy Cyber crop.
both layouts are about friendship, about people I love.
It feels good to create layouts about good memories.
Wish you were here!

Now, thank you my dear blogfriends, I really love you too!! And your visits on my blog and your sweet comments mean a lot to me.

Cocoa Daisy Layouts

 Hi friends.
It has been a busy week here in Oslo, with our national day celebration on may 17th, and all kinds of things happening at school, a shoot for a commercial movie, and the rebuilding of my kitchen and doorway and windows...

I so wanted to attend the Cocoa Daisy Cyber Crop last weekend. Luckily I managed to join a bit ... most chat, but also a few layouts.  So glad we are able to still finish up and upload the layouts for the crop before the 22nd.  :)

The above layout is pictures of Sol.  She created her own little book and made up a story she wrote in the book. And then she read it all to me.
I created this layout with room for the book and pictures of her. :)
The other layouts are of my girls, and one layout from the beautiful food markets in Stockholm.  :)

Thanks for popping by, and have a great weekend! :)

And dont forget to leave your comment on this post for your chance to attend in my 100000 visitors celebration.  :)

Capturing moments

Our family was so lucky to get free tickets to the fair "tusenfryd" from our neighbor.
I went there with Eirun and Iver, and we had the best time.
I even got some cool snapshot with my beloved hipstamatic app.
I'm really into these "grungy" looking little pictures lately. It makes it so fun and easy to document and capture little moments of life.
This layout is made using all patterned paper from my wonderful Cocoa daisy "central park" kit.
:)
I created a envelope with room for a large tag with journaling, and even more photos.

thanks for stopping by.

120th birthday and some scrapbooking-love

Today my grandmother asta would have had her 120th birthday.
We had a nice lunch and planted some beautiful flowers at her grave.
She was a wonderful person, and all I remember of her is lots of laughter, love and warmth.
She loved parties, and had lots of friends even in her old age.
This day made me dig in to my really old pictures. Love these little, old treasures.
Here are three of my pictures:
upper left: (Granma) Farmor Asta and me ca 1976
upper right: Asta ca 1938
low: Asta with the Black hat up left, her mother ( my great grandmother) in the middle and my dad, the little boy with dark hair,  on the first stair (right)  ca 1930.

Now on to a bit scrapbooking.
I created this layout with pictures from the fair (tusenfryd tivoli) last summer.
My girls really had the best time ever.  :)
This layout was inspired by this months challenge over at Cocoa Daisy and a sketch challenge by Donna Jannuzzi at Ella Publishing blog.

Thanks for stopping by!

easter, summer, breakdown, layouts and just little bits and pieces of life....

Hi my friends.
Hope some of you are still here..... it has been a while... yes, I know.
My computer had a breakdown during easter.
Luckily Hubby solved the problems when the store opened and he could buy a couple of new discs.
:)
The week of Easter was so good. BUSY but good.
Lots of kids around the house. It was so nice to make a happy, cozy easter celebration for my kids and all their little guests.
The weather in Oslo has ben the best ever.
FINALLY after the long, long cold winter easter brought us almost real summer.

This layout was made for this months challenge over at Cocoa Daisy, using the CD april kit. LOVE it!
Pictures from a little bike ride with Eirik and Sol during easter break.
I created this layout
a while back for the great "words and perspectives" project over at Sue Myldes blog.
I was SO happy to be invited as one of her special guests.
My word is Life.
You can read more about my journaling and perspective HERE.
Make sure you visit sues blog and look trough all the wonderful, inspiring layouts and artists that have participated in the words and perspectives project.

The layout below is made for this weeks sketch # 235 over at Pencil Lines Sketch blog.
Used my favorite Cosmo Cricket patterned paper for this project.
Picture of Sol and Momo, at Sols birthday.

Machine stitched the heart on top of all the paper strips.
 Crazy isn't it....
first this loooong, cold winter here up north, and then all of a sudden the summer came ... well at least warm and lovely spring.

Here are two little pictures from our summery easter  :)

Today I spendt the day at home with Sol.
She has catched a cold. Poor girl.
Even tho she managed to play at a wonderful concert this evening.
Sol and edwin played with two brass ensebles at the music shool here in Oslo today.
It feels so good to see them love their music so much.

Tomorrow we'll be off to tante Elins 75th birthday. All she wanted as a gift was us giving her some music - so our family band will play at the party.
So looking forward to that.
:)
As we had a nice and cozy day at home I managed to create some little projects too.

The above layout are made for this months challenge over at
Cocoa Daisy.
It was all about using a quote ....
I found this house with the quote on at Pintrest, and fell in love emmediately. The perfect "note to self" for me ;)

Thje other little project is just a sneak peek of my Step-by-step project coming up over at the
Cosmo Cricket blog
on saturday.
Make sure you stop by for some fun inspiration :)

Have a great weekend!

Winter in Oslo

Hi.
Hope you all have had a great weekend.
It has been a winter-like weekend here in Oslo, cold and snow.
Today it was grey, and windy as well .... perfect for indoor activities, like scrapbooking ( in my opinion ;) )
But my girls, and hubby was more than happy to go outside - it was the first day of ice on our local field - so they could go ice skating. Could it be better!!??!! LOL
...I just had to go take some photos of them ....

...and then run home to scrap the photos ....

:)
All Cosmo Cricket "Mitten weather" chipboards on this layout.

These three layouts are all made for the Fall Crop challenges over at Cocoa Daisy.

I had so much fun attending this crop last weekend. And fortunately we had until today to finish the layouts and post them in the gallery. Thanks for stopping by.

Have a great week.

It's all good

Hi!
Today I'm all smiles. Hubby are back home from USA, and sick computer was fixed in a second. :)
What a blessing to be married to a engeneer. I think Computers love him ... :)
Luckily it was all saved in my backup, so nothing was lost.

Anyhow:
If you sent me an e-mail during the weekend it might have got lost.
Or if you have tried to e-mail me and not got an answer yet ... please be patient ... I have about 800 unread e-mails to go trough after this computer breakdown......

This weekend I attended the Large Crop at Drømtorp, Ski, meeting my scrapbooking friends, having a class ,chatting, laughing, creating ...
It was all good!
:)

I recently got my box of goodies ( the october kit and add-ons ) from Cocoa Daisy. It was perfect to bring to the crop.
I talked too much, so I never got to create more than this " du & jeg " ( you and me ) layout.
These pictures of Eirik and me in Odessa, Ukraine earlier this year, are some of my favorites.

This layout is created with a piece of patterned paper from my new Cosmo Cricket favorite line " circa 1934", and some bits and pieces I got in my goodiebag at the Cocoa Daisy event in Greece.

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a great day.
