"Håndlaga 2011" and a challenge :)

Hi

More snow in Oslo today.
This winter seems like it will never come to an end...
Still over 1 1/2 feet snow in my garden....

Now, well .... days are at least longer and lighter now.
...
Yes, I'm starting to long for spring...

Feels good to create some bright, spring-inspired cards :)
This card is for this weeks challenge over at
:)
Håndlaga 2011 is a blog and a contest for all norwegian designed things and all things handmade.
You can nominate norwegian designed items
( like spesific papers from 3ndypapir for example ;) )
spesific handmade things (norwegian )
or (norwegian)blogs featuring handmade things.
Love this idea. How fun would that be to be featured on a blog / contest like this.

So please, if you love some of the 3ndypapir products - or my blog for that sake,
go ahead and nominate.
:)
You can find all the details
(you should probably use google translate if you don't read norwegian language ;) )

Thanks for popping by.

Repurpose, Reuse and a challenge :)

Hi my friends, and
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU SO MUCH
For all your wonderful, kind, encouraging comments on my new 3ndypapir release. You all made me so happy. More pictures will come tomorrow, so stay tuned. :)
....
.
Today wanted to share a little reuse project I have made.
I have this large pile of old blue jeans. I have had plans on using them forever. And the day before Edvins birthday I decided I wanted to give his room a little makeover.
I purchased a new cover for his bed at Home and Cottage, wich inspired me to dig in to the pile of jeans and make a new pillow-cover as well. :)
It made me happy to use my sewing machine for sewing fabric ( not just paper :P ) and what made me even more happy: Edvin was SO happy when he came home and discovered the little makeover in his room.
This pillow was made out of one of his favorite jeans that are too small now ...
a great way to reuse the favorite jeans.
:)

Oh, and not to forget:
It is my turn up having the saturday challenge over at the Cosmo Cricket blog today
:)
:)
My challenge is all about January.
Make sure you join the fun, and post a link to your january layout over at the Cosmo blog, for your chance to win a "Circa 1934" Kraft Kit
:)

Have a great weekend.
