Some pictures from today that makes me totally happy. Spring, sunny warm weather, people I love, flowers, taking a nice walk, photographing.... Life doesn't have to be perfect to be beautiful. ❤

We had confirmation at church this sunday and a big party for him with family and friends.

Love to see this boy grow and be a wonderful, lovely, talented, warm-hearted person.

Busy days here at my house.

People are working here these days. walls are painted, outdoor areas fixed, indoor staircase fixed and painted, kitchen still in progress...

Still lots left on the to do list...but with all these wonderful helpers I'm sure it will all be good...

Beautiful places and beautiful friends

  Hi my friends.

This last week I have been SO lucky being around some wonderful, lovely friends.

We have been abit around the country, but all these pictures are from the beautiful place Bessaker, Fosen. This is at the coasline of Trøndelag, and I tell you, the nature is amazingly beautiful!!

The culture is still alive, the people are so warm and lovely the food is yummy ( if you are a fish-lover ;)  ).

We had some really nice, cosy days up  there.

This was the last piece of vacation. School starts on thursday.

Can't say I'm super excited to start "the neverending everydays" again .... but I know it will be all good as soon as I get in to the swing of things... ;)

just be

 Hi my friends, and again thank you so much for all your sweet comments, your thaughts and prayers. I really, really appreciate it, and it means a lot to me.

Things are slowly getting back to normal.

We still cry, are terrified, sad and angry.

It has been some heavy days here in Oslo, and our little country , Norway, after the terrible happenings in Oslo and Utøya.

The beautiful thing in the middle of this is the People of Norway have all shown so much love, so much care and so much warmth. The flowers that are all over our city tell their story We will fight the evil with love, and care for each other.

 Personally I needed some time after the tragedy, to care for my family, to meet friends, talk, cry, ponder, be silent, hug and show that we love eachother and really care.

Needed to just soak in the beauty of our wonderful nature.

I will be back now.

I will create, do the things I love, scrapbook, make art, create cards and designs.

Things will be back to normal ... time will work for us ....

but we will never forget.

Time

Time.

Just need some time to recover, to think, to ponder.

Will take a few days off.

Thanks for all your love, all your thaught and prayers.

It is all so much appreciated.

THE Journey

 Hi my friends.

Thank you for all your kind wishes on my journey / vacation to california.

I tell you: we had the best time ever!!

It was all gorgeous and beautiful!

We enjoyed the time at a beautiful Hotel at the beach of Chanal Island, Oxnard, and got to stay a lot at the beach.

 We also came to visit a lot of fun places: Six flags, Sea World in san Diego and Disney Land.

It was all super fun and lovely.

 We went on a road trip to Sequoia to see the giant trees, to Yosemite national park to se the beautiful falls and nature and to Death Valley to see the desert and to feel the heat ( 122F ) ( 50 degrees celsius)

 We also visited the beautiful city: San Fransisco, wich we all emmediately fell in love with.

This was just a tiny little glimpse of my journey.

I'm sure I will tire you with more ... and of course all the photos will keep me busy scrapbooking for quite a while.... ;)

This has been a beautiful day here in oslo.

the weather was good and I celebrated my day at my mothers house.

My kids and my mom made delicious food and the girls made me their special crunchy chocolate cake.

We had a great time outdoor in the sun.

it was all good.

I found this romantic, beautiful, new bench in my garden, along with a basket full of yummy strawberries.

It just couldn't be any better!

The layout is all about my mothers birthday. Our family gave her a new bike. She really love to ride her bike around the little city where she lives...and we found she needed a new one. The kids were SO happy to give her this gift. The girls decorated the cycle-basket with flowers before we gave it to her.

120th birthday and some scrapbooking-love

Today my grandmother asta would have had her 120th birthday.

We had a nice lunch and planted some beautiful flowers at her grave.

She was a wonderful person, and all I remember of her is lots of laughter, love and warmth.

She loved parties, and had lots of friends even in her old age.

This day made me dig in to my really old pictures. Love these little, old treasures.

easter, summer, breakdown, layouts and just little bits and pieces of life....

Hi my friends.

Hope some of you are still here..... it has been a while... yes, I know.

My computer had a breakdown during easter.

Luckily Hubby solved the problems when the store opened and he could buy a couple of new discs.

The week of Easter was so good. BUSY but good.

Lots of kids around the house. It was so nice to make a happy, cozy easter celebration for my kids and all their little guests.

The weather in Oslo has ben the best ever.

FINALLY after the long, long cold winter easter brought us almost real summer.

This layout was made for this months challenge over at Cocoa Daisy, using the CD april kit. LOVE it!
