Tøffe tak og Scrapjacked ;)

Vi har hatt besøk av verdens beste trønderfamilie i helga. Tovefamilien var her, og vi koste oss glugg.

Even kom litt før resten av familien....men det er alltid tøft for en fra distriktet å komme til hovedstadens rå hverdag....og han endte kort etter ankomst på legevakta.....med "knusningssår over patella"

Hendelsen ble et supert emne til denne månedens Scrapjacked.

Layouten av Maria Grace Abuzman var super-cool, og MÅTTE scrappes.

Pasienten ble sydd, og var glad og fornøyd etter kort tid. ;)

På layouten har jeg fått plass til både journal og en stein som ble funnet inni såret inni transperent-lomma, og en tekstlapp sammen med to små mobil-bilder på utsiden.

My layout is about a little boy playing police... he hurt his knee really bad and had to go to the hospital. All the journaling made by the hospital is stuck in the overlay-pocket along with one of the little stones that hurt his knee. 4 stiches in his knee, but still going strong, I pictured the boys outside the hospital, fastened the picks and some journaling by me outside the pocket.

Pink

This time Rhonna Farrers colorchallenge was pink.
I'm really NOT the pink kind'a girl. So I thought this would be a hard one...
But as days went by this picture of me, was taken (by my lovely husband!) on my mothers birthday.
I don't use to wear hats, and specially not pink ones....but this time it happend to be just right....
And you know what, I was so happy about this picture...I just had to use it....and maybe I have to wear pink hats more often too..... ;) LOL

I am really into this beautyful masks by Rhonna Farrer nowdays. Really cool and easy to use. Have you tried them yet? If not, I think you have to go to 2Peas in a Bucket - digital - to make some downloads. ;)

Arvtager, fin dag og vårmarked

En stolt Eirun har lagd DEN flotte apekatten. Har dere sett for en stor og hærlig papirfigur. Her har vi nok med sikkerhet min arvtager på paper-piecing-fronten. ;-)

Ellers er det travle dager....sånn er det alltid i starten av juni.

Idag foregikk "vårens vakreste eventyr! på Ljabru gård; Steinerskolens vårmarked.

Og for en fin dag det ble! Sola skinte, syrinene blomstret, det var deilig mat, fin underholdning med sang og spill fra barna, og i tillegg masse aktiviteter.

Sjekk ut alle de fine fargene! Hvem kan vel ikke la seg inspirere av noe sånt?

For my englisspeaking friends:

Some pics from today: Had a spring/summer-marked at the Waldorf Kindargarden. The weather was lovely, the kids were singing and playing, and they also made all kind of things, like small wooden flutes, woll-flowers and balls, stamping their own prints using potatoes....

We had a bakery and a place where we sold flowers and a café with all kinds of salads and bread... Yes, Lovely day.... :)

Kurs

Helga 8. 9. og 10. juni er det stortreff på Minnehjørnet i Ski.Masse gøy og spennende skjer.

Det blir masse kurs, bl.a. 2 kurs med min gode venn Lene Solhaug, fredag kveld og lørdag formiddag.

Jeg skal ha ett kurs lørdag 9. Det blir i god Gudrun-stil; et skikkelig kliss-klass-gla'-kurs, for de som vil prøve seg med maling, plastikk og nye teknikker. ;)

Purple and Brown for Rhonna

I have been working on my colors lately, and here are the results of the purple and the brown challenges on Rhonna Farrers site.

Purple is not actually my color....but it reminds me of this wonderful flowers, and spring and sunny days.

Brown is more my color. I love the elegance in brown metal, the yummy, warm, delicate shades of brown chocolate and coffe. I also love the more eart-like color, the red-brown in my terracotta-pots and the feeling of earth between my fingers when I'm gardening.

Her har jeg lagd to sider Til RhonnaFarrers farge-utfordring. En Lilla og en Brun.

Brun er nok mer MIN farge enn lilla, selvom lilla minner meg på syriner....en av mine vår-favoritter. :-)

Brun er delikat, elegant og varm. Jeg tenker på sjokolade, kaffe, jord og planter....gammelt tre, terrakottapotter og myke fløyelstoner.

Have been in a really nostalgic mood lately. Went trough some old albums when I stumbled into this old album from 1976.
Some of those albums haven't been lokked into since my father died in 1985. And I have to say it is good to look into, and remember all those happy days, filled with love, joy and so much loving and caring people.
It all started when Emilys prompt was : your parents. I had to make a tribute to this people that way back learned me what love is all about.
I didn't follow emilys prompt on the bedroom. I was so into my old memories, and had to make a card on what was on my mind...after all this is a deck about me. ;-)

Then for the prompt: someone elses contribute to the card; I couldn't resist using this drawing Eirun made of me when she was about three years old. I have this strict attitude, but with arms wide open...definately me... ;-)

Then for the surprise-prompt:
It is NO surprise for us norwegians we are having our national day this week; 17th of may.
For you that are not into norwegian culture;
We celebrate our national day in a very special way:
All the kids are gathered in processions in the streets. All schools have their own flag and all the kids from the schools are gathered, and in Oslo they walk up the main street to wawe and shout hurray to the king standing at his balcony at the palace. Some kids bands is playing music in front of the procession, everybody have norwegian flags and their best clotes on.
After the procession some people gather to play old kids games, like running with an egg on a spoon, jumping around in a sack, playing on the "wheel of fortune" and so on. This is a day when the family is gathered....we can eat as much icecream as we want to....
This is the #1 day for our kids.
So I found this old picture of me and my grandma from 1976. It made me so happy....and it was a bit of a surprise to find this little tresure...stuck behind some other picture in my old album. ;-)

Best friends & ScrapJacked

I have made 2 layouts today. Feel so happy and inspiered. Love that feeling.

1: At Papirgleder.no we have a "scrap your friends"-challenge. I decided to make this tribute to my very best scrapbooking-friends Tove & Lene. Love ya!

2: I looked into the "ScrapJack"-blog and found this very inspiering, fun Layout by Stephanie Howell. I just HAD TO scraplift that one.

To LO'er lagd idag. Føler meg glad og full av inspirasjon og kreativitet. God følelse. :-)

Kasta meg på "scrap en venn" utfordringen på Papirgleder, og valget var ikke vanskelig: Det ble en liten "tribute" til mine to scrappebestiser: Tove og Lene. De to damene er alltid fulle av kreativitet, glede og inspirasjon...de får sola til å skinne...uansett vær. KLEM til dere!!

Den andre LO'en er lagd etter Stephanie Howells side på ScrapJack-bloggen. :-)

Har hatt en gøy dag med masse scrapping, det er jo det beste som fins. :-)

Yellow

Here is the result og the yellow challenge at Rhonna Farrers site. This is a hybrid-LO made in traditional way, using cardstock and paper, but also digital elements.

Her er siden min lagd til forrige ukes GUL-utfordring hos RhonnaFarrer. Dette er en hybrid.LO lagd med digitale elementer, men satt sammen på tradisjonell måte med kartong, papir og papirbilde, samt transperent.
Gul er energi, styrke, ild, sommer..... Har prøvd å fange alt på en gang....

Red for Rhonna and Layouts for PG-Spam

Here are Some layouts made the last three days. One for RhonnaFarrers color-challenge. Yes, I know I am abit behind.... I'm really working on the yellow one as well, but heaven knows that's NOT an easy color. Anyhow; had a blast doing the red challenge. red is one of my favourites, but still it was not very easy at first...had to think about it for quite some time....in the end I just started playing with loads of different paper, textures, ink, colors, techniques and....well I must say it was really fun, and I feel pleased with how the LO turned out.

This two layouts are made for DT-Spam Show Off at Papirgleder.no yesterday. The "giggle" layout are inspiered by a sketch i got from Karla at nightcrop last weekend. Thank you! :-) Really had a great time using all those colors.... not often I use orange, green, pink, blue, red and yellow all mixed together.... but this picture of Sol is so "springy" and happy and sunny...I think it deserved all the colors....LOL

This one is made after one day at grandma's place. She lives close to the fjord and the kids was so delighted they could go fishing all day long. After a loooong, cold winter it seems they celebrated spring in their own way.... ;-)

Long time....

Det har vært messe i Skedsmohallen siden sist...det var kjempeartig, og tusen takk til alle dere som stakk innom og sa hei til Lene og meg! (og til alle dere som shoppa av oss... ;-) )

Nettkurs på Papirgleder.no

I morgen; Torsdag 19. april er det klart for nettkurs på Papirgleder .no. Jeg gleder meg kjempemasse til å ha dette rammebok-kurset.
Har hatt kurset mange ganger "live", både på Minnehjørnet og som hjemmekurs, men dette er første gang på nett. Håper mange tar turen innom. ;)
Minialbumet vi skal lage passer perfekt som gave eller som et lite vår-prosjekt. Det er ganske enkelt å lage, når man først har lært prinsippet, så her er det mulighet til å lage mange små bøker framover.

Det blir flere nettkurs også, så for de av dere som har dilla på minialbum er det bare å slenge seg med...her er det tre ulike album med tre ulike teknikker.
Siden det er nettkurs er det lettvint å være med, du trenger ikke reise noe sted, skaffe barnevakt el.l. Du trenger bare registrere deg som medlem på Papirgleder.no (det er gratis) og kjøpe kurset i nettbutikken der.

Grønn vår :-)

Fargen i RhonnaFarrers fargeutfordring forrige uke var GRØNN.

Grønn er ikke akkurat yndlingsfargen min....men grønt er allikevel symbol for ting jeg setter stor pris på...får meg til å tenke på alt som spirer og gror...VÅREN...gress og blomster, og den vanvittige energien som kommer med vårsola. Alt i alt...grønt er skjønt... ;-) lol

Here is the LO made for Rhonnas colorchallenge; GREEN. I had to think about this color for a while.... Green is not my favourite, but it reminds me of things I really appreciate...like my garden, se seeds and plants growing, SPRING and the energy shown trough the nature this time of year...Here in Norway everything seems dead trough the long, cold winter, and then suddenly, when spring comes everything turns green in just a snap...Like a miracle. :-) So green makes me happy, and I have to say I love green too, after all. ;)

A deck of me #13 & #14

Here is my cards for the 13th and 12th week of Emilys "a deck of you"-challenge.
I really love this little journey. It is really fun to have one card from each week for a whole year...
# 13 "whats on my mind?" Spring and being together. It is easter-time, and family and love and being together is something we really focus on this week. ;)
Eirun is so delighted about the springflowers all around....she picked some for gandma*, and they were both so happy about it....
#14 : "Birds" : I have ever since i was a teenager been in love with the dove holding a olive-branch - one of the oldest signs of peace.....

Det er ferie, og jeg føler meg glad og inspirert. :-) Bra følelse! Her er en scrapbook-side inspirert av "layer"-utfordringen på The LOOK-blog.
(here is my contribution to the great layer-challenge at The LOOK-blog. those challenges are really inspiering, and makes me happy and filled with creativity. ;-) My layout is to my son that just got into this sms-thing...his cellphone is beeping and "singin' all day long....girfriends are standing in rows and everybody get an answer when they call...wow! how cool is that, to have a real pre-teen in the house....lol)

En annen side jeg har lagd idag, en liten koseside....nå er våren her, og både unger og dyr trives best ute. Kaninene får komme ut av burene sine, og vår kjære, gamle kanin får litt ekstra kos av Eirun. Hun elsker denne gamle, snille kaninen, det er så koselig. :)
(another layout made today.... my daughter and our old rabit...Eirun loves the rabbit, and it often get hugs and kisses.... ;) )

A deck of me #12

Here is my card for this weeks prompt in Emilys "a deck of you"-challenge.
The promt is: What do you believe in.....
I had to think about this for a while..... I believe in so many things, and so few things..... Strange....
For you ( Amaricans, or not Norwegians) to understand better: Here in Norway most of us are not very religious people.... and, the word believe is for me something about religion..... well, so I had to think about this for a while, what do I really believe in?
I believe in Love, I believe that every single person is born with love in their hart, and the possibility to give and show love....so the ting is HOW we show it...and I think if we all try to love people around us, love the nature, and all the things we are so blessed to be surrounded by, the world would be a better place. ;)

Om ca to uker starter FreestyleDownUnder... hva man kan kalle en freestyle-festival, fylt med kurs og kreativ morro...det foregår i New Zeeland og Australia, og selebritetene står i kø...
På bloggene til disse damene er det trekning på gratis kurs....Hiv dere på! Jeg mener...det er jo tross alt bare rett på andre siden av kloden...... ;-)

My color BLUE :)

Yes, I LOVE Blue. It is MY color....has allways been. I remember very well, as a kid I never had anything pink... It was not my color....a friend of mine used to say; "why do you allways wear such ugly colored clothes?" ....and I remember thinking; "Yours are even worse....I love my blue pants and brown tees.......Pink! blæh!" ... but I never said anything....it was not right for a girl to love BLUE. Anyway, never gave up my true love....so today a very blue front-door will welcome you when you come to my place.

I love all kinds of blue, and they are all representing different things to me; turqouse is summer, dark blue is silence/night/dreams, light blue is winter/cold, but also something light, fresh and easy , violet-blue has for me more energy, but also something sad....

Well, blue is so many things, and I love it all ...

This blue-LO is as you may know, made to a colorchallenge hosted by the fantastic, creative, adorable little lady: Rhonna Farrer, and I'm really enjoying diggin' into what the colors mean to me ... colors is a large part of my life, and it is really fun working with colors this way.
