Cocoa challenge and Moonbeam sneak peek

Have been creating some little things this weekend.

I so enjoy my paper craft between peeking in on the computer to cheer on the norwegian skiers and skijumpers in the ski world cup in Oslo.

I created the layout above for this months sketch over at cocoa daisy.

Inspired by my incredibly talented friend, Hanne, I have been sewing a bit lately.

One handbag (I'll show you later ) and this little purse.

Actually I love to sew, but It is way too long since I played with my favorite fabric and sewing machine.

THIS challenge over at Pixie Dust gave me the kick to make this purse.

It will be perfect for little girls on summer vacation.

:) :) The super Cute girl is a digi stamp from Pixie Dust studios, printed on to a transfer sheet and ironed on to the un-bleached cotton fabric before sewing the bag.

the super cute flower fabric and the yellow fabric are both some of my fave fabrics by Cosmo Cricket. :)

NOW we are enjoying the Winter break with lots of time off, having just the best time....

the ski world cup is here ( in Oslo ) and we enjoy it all! :)

Hi my friends.

This week is last week before schools winter break here in Oslo, and we are all looking forward to a wintery week off. :)

I have been inspired by so many things lately.

I have been inspired by the beautiful Cosmo Cricket papers and a great challenge over at Cocoa daisy, to create these two layouts.

I made these hearts...sort of by accident.... LOL

But LOVE how they turned out with crackle paint and epoxy. :)

Had a mini photo shoot with me and Eirun a few weeks ago.

She is the sweetest girl, and we have so much fun together. :)

I feel so blessed to be her mom.

(and the mom of all my 4 kids, actually.... :) :) )

Winter

It is still ice cold, white winter here in Oslo.

And, yes, we still enjoy it :)

The kids love the snow, and enjoy the lighter, longer days in february, playing outdoor in the snow.

the girls created this super cute snowman outside our front door.

He is welcoming everybody that comes to our door.

And tha good thing is, because of the cold days he'll probably have a long and good life, bringing smiles to our cold winter faces :)

To create this layout I have used patterned paper and rubons from Lily Bee, Love their happy colorful design.

I was so inspired by the february photo box challenge over at our vintage affair blog.

This box would be a perfect new home for the old pictures I came across in and old envelope in the attic.

Just wanted to share some layouts I've made the last couple of days now, just before I'm off to NY.

Have you seen the old pictures above..

I found this in a box in the attic.

WOW! Can't believe these pictures are from 1917!!

My grand father obviously had a camera in the very early days, and took alot of very unique, candid shots. Finding all these old pictures, "just like that", made me over the moon happy....and I just needed to create.

This paper from sassafras was a perfect match. :)

Some really good memories.

Yes, I know I have scrapped this picture before....I just love this picture, and can't seem to scrap it too many times....LOL

Calendar

Can't believe it, it is january 18th already.

The days fly by so quickly.

I feel like this year will go by in just a snap...

No, well, better enjoy TODAY, and don't think about how fast it will go by. ;)

Early in january I created this cute little Calendar with My Little Shoebox papers.

Super easy to make.

Just created the large envelope out of a 12x12 inch paper.

Printed the calendar on to cardstock, and cut out each coaster.

Created 12cards out of patterned paper, that would fit inside the envelope.

Made a hole in the envelope, where the calendar coaster could peek out.

Adhered the calendar coasters to the cards, making sure it would fit inside the "envelope-window".

voila!

A cute calendar to have by the phone, or on the fridge door, in the office.... or wherever you need a calendar.
