I create :-)

After almost three years of "silence" my inner creativity have finally found a new spring and are slowly getting back to its "old self". I feel so happy to have my kitchen table all messy with paint and stencils and paper and stuff .... Feeling the joy of creating. I created a card for a very good friend today, and have more projects going on .... It all makes me totally happy.

Everyday art

Yes, i must admit I kinda love street art. I find it inspiring, some times amusing, sometimes it makes me happy, sometimes it makes me think, sometimes it's beautiful, sometimes ugly.... Anyway it inspires me, everyday art. Makes me realize you can find a little piece of art every day, or you can create with something "everydayish", to remember little happy moments.... things that matters to you, things you want to remember or things that just makes you want to shout. Here is a little piece I created with a little note I got on a piece of chocolate from my daughter. Love it.

Just a note

I found this little blue note on my kitchen table after my darling boyfriend went to work early one morning. Love his little everyday " i love you-notes" and messages. It makes me so happy. I stuck this note into one white page in my art journal, just to keep it. Then today I was just in the mood to create, and this little note was right there in my book ... So why not use it. Great way to save it and remember it forever. :-)

Kindness is a precious gift. I have some really kind people in my life, they make my life worth living. I'm so grateful.

 I believe  it's always good to be kind. Never give up kindness, even if you get disappointed. Just make sure you have your limits, so no one take advantage of you.

Here is a little art journal page I've recently created. I have collected so many beautiful, encouraging quotes the last couple of years, and now I was inspired to write down some of them in a art journal. I really enjoy getting back to playing and creating a little bit. I've finished my Christmas album, and have made some cards lately, but find it hard to be able to use the daylight for photographing and sharing my projects while working full time. Any suggestions on how to resolve this, and find time to blog and share the way I would love to do? Anyhow, thanks for popping by.

December daily :-)

So excited about playing with paper and my scrap booking stuff to make this years December daily album. So far I've made 10 pages. One cover page with a list over things we love to do in our household before Christmas, and 9 interior pages, ready to be filled with this years December activities. I've decided not to put numbers on the pages. Maybe  it won't be able to make one page each day, or maybe I want to start earlier.... You never know. Besides I can use whatever premade page whenever I want during the journey. I've used only my own design paper by 3ndypapir and old stuff I've had around in my stash, exept  some  folders and tags from websters.

sometings brewing.....

To be honest I'm not really sure how to start this post.

It has been a really looooong time since I wrote or posted anything here.

I never forgot my good ol' blog, but it was, for a while, far far away from me. I didn't have the inspiraton, the creativity, the energy to write or create. 

However, at a certain point I started to miss it all. 

I missed my paper-stuff, my scrapbooking, my cardmaking and my little messy world of creativity and "art".

And yesterday was a really great day. It was one of those really really happy days. A day that gives you energy, and makes you smile for days.

First I went to the city centre of Oslo to by myself some canvas. At the craft store I found this little ringbound album and it all started to ticle inside me. I bought the album and a few tags, decided to do something I have done for years, and really want to do ....

SO I hope I can go for it and share the journey with you.

My friends, Lene and Heike had invited me to join them in a painting class with the wonderful artist Lise Larsen Kjelstrup.
It was really the most wonderful, creative, happy, artful day I have had for a very long time.

So, all this lead to even more creativity and happiness ...
Today my girls asled me if I wanted to scrap or make some papercrafts with them. We havent done it for ages, and it made me so very very happy. We went to the storage and gathered paper and stuff and put it all on the kitchen table. Sol created some wonderful cards, and then we all created some paper-stars. Very easy, very simple, but SO much fun!!

We had a really great time creating, and now we just want to do more!! Thank you Eirun and Sol for dusting off my scrapbooking-stuff and getting us started.

Celebrate

Hello my lovely friends, and thank you SO much for all your sweet and warm-hearted comments. :-)

Now. Here is the reason that made me so happy and inspired to create I decided to be back here on my blog:

Yes, you are right. The wonderful, inspiring, creative blog One Little Word is back!!!

And here the other day my sweet, talented friend Ronda contacted me and asked me if I wanted to join the team like I did before. 

As a friend of mine she very well knew my life is bumpy and rough and that my creative side have been sleeping for a year now. still she chose to ask me to join. This made me so very, very happy, and all my creative friends over at OLW filled me with so much inspiration and joy I couldn't say no to join them.

So.

This month we are Celebrating the re-birth of OLW, celebrating Jessis beautiful word for this month, celebrating art, celebrating creativity, celebrating life.

And soak in all the beauty and inspiration from Jessi, Ronda, Karla, Lynn and Denise.

I have made a little art Journal page for this word.

Life is not black or white. Like I said in my post yesterday there is so many things to be thankful for, to embrace, to make life colorful and happy.

New Life

Exactly one year ago, yesterday, I made my last scrapbooking-related post here on my blog. After that it all happend so fast. My kids and my life changed so fast, and all by a sudden we were all on our own.

This past year have given me a lot of lessons, alot of tears, worries and sorrows. But it also teached me to be thankful. I have so many things in my life to embrace, so many things that make me happy, so many people i love. and so many people that loves me just the way I am. Thank you!!

So Here I am, I have finally found some joy in creating, and the next post here on my blog will show you something that really really made me happy.  :-)

I just wanted to try to give my blog a new life. It will probably be a totally different one - just like mine .... 

But I will be so happy to be back here, and I hope some of you sill will find some inspiration or joy in following my blog

It's a time for everything

Dear friends.

My blog has been neglected for quite some time now.

As my life has taken a steep turn, I needed to use all my time and energy here with my kids and family.

Right now there is no time for creativity, no time for paper love.

It makes me sad - but I know I will be back one day.
